Fog light circuit keeps blowing it's fuse Posted by paul [Email] (#792) [Profile/Gallery] (more from paul) on Sun, 6 Jan 2002 16:06:23 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Some feedback would be appreciated. Anyone know how I should troubleshoot this? The switch appears to operate normally. In fact I even disassembled it and metered it, checks ok. The relay appears to be operating (clicks) normally. But I wasn't sure how to check it's output. Obviously there is a short somewhere. (could the relay be the problem? I didn't think of swapping relays around until after reassembling the glove box.) How do you begin to find this assuming it's a short? Using 100W bulbs is the only anomaly, and for a good many hours prior to this. I suspect this overloaded something.
