TCS in 93' 9000 CDE works wonderfully...

Last night I came home to a fairly steep icy hill. I decided to do a test between my C900 with Hakka's and my girlfriends 9000 CDE with studded front hakka's/regular rear hakka's and traction control/ABS.
The C900 made it up the hill, but I had to feather the gas and could only get up to about 20 MPH. Down the hill, I used the brakes hard to practice emergency stopping. I was pretty impressed as usual with the C900 with Hakka's.
Then I fire up the 9000...
I had 2 things to test. I wanted to test the new TCS switch I installed and I wanted to test the TCS and ABS systems.
First the TCS switch does not work with automatics. When I bought the TCS switch, the package did clearly say for manual transmissions, but I tried it anyway.
Second, the TCS works beautifully. I'm not sure what other people's problem is with it. I stopped many times at different grades on the hill and never had a problem starting the car up the hill. The TCS light came on and away I went. This hill was very snowy and icy. A cop had a real trouble getting up this hill while I was playing around! It was around 2am and it was a backroad, so the plow's hadn't made it thru yet!
Coming down the hill the ABS worked great. I did some 45 mph stopping tests while changing lanes. Even going down an icy hill with the brakes on, didn't change the cars control.
I'm sure the results would have been different if I had the summer tire/all seasons on both of the cars. I don't think either one of the cars would have made it up.
