standing on the engine swearing. my knuckles were bleeding and my fingers hurt the next day from trying to get the blower motor and housing back where it was supposed to go. augh! i've also often used the "wrench system" in the haynes manual as a personal progression guide. how do you know when you've graduated to the next wrench level? :) head gasket r&r is a three-wrencher, and i'm not so confident about that one...but maybe when it finally needs to be done, i'll be at that point. can anyone think of a suitable proving ground, some similar, slightly lesser repair that would prepare you for the intensity of doing a head gasket or other three wrench jobber?
