Re: C900 a-arm attaching point body reinforcement / 99 Posted by 900 Aero [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: Re: C900 a-arm attaching point body reinforcement / 99, Karl ![]() |
Thanks Karl, again I don't have a rust problem but want to reinforce those areas anyway along with my boxed a arms! As I understand it water collects above the a arm mounting points so I'd also like to drill some escape holes after adding my own weld in pieces??? I did do some research and found that the 99 a arms are thicker than the C900 ones but I haven't done any actual measurements yet. Anyway should I box my 99 a arms rather than a set of '90 up 900's (if they do fit?) and add better mounting for the front (stock) 900 sway bar I'm using? I'll go with a 1" 900 bar on the rear unless you guys think it's too much for a 99? Remember this car is a 16 valve turbo with 2 '85 900T inter-coolers plus a roll cage and full '88 SPG interior so with the extra weight I'm thinking that the sway bars I want to use may be necessary? Thanks again, Dave
