Potentially, there are quite a few common parts, and parts that swap over easily. I think we could do a better job if we knew the motors, transmissions, # of doors on each vehicle.
It also depends on how much work you need to do or are willing to do.
One thing that's a no-brainer would be to swap the front steering knuckles - balljoint to balljoint - from the 900 to either 99 (the actual driveshafts stay with the 900 or 99 - don't mix them up!). The 1981 & later assemblies are lighter (by a lot!), AND you can take the brake rotor off without taking the whole steering knuckle to the shop.
But other things, it depends on the needs and wants of the two 99s.
If either 99 is a 4 or 5 door, the doors from the 900 will fit on the car. Trim may or may not, depending on the part, and other factors.
If the 99s are 2 or 3 doors, then there's a lot less interior stuff that can come across. Maybe nothing, in fact, because the rear seats are a whole lot different, and the front seats in the 4door 900 won't tilt forward for rear seat access. Headliners are different, carpets, too.
Motor wise, the 900 will have the "H" motor (or the 16v...), which can go into a 99 with some firewall mods (or solid metal motor mounts, and resigning yourself to removing the motor to change the water pump or belts...) If the 900 is an 8v, then the injelction system looks a lot like the 99 systems, but there are a LOT of detail differences (unless, that is, being a Canadian Market car, you were lucky enough to get non-catalyst 900s...).
If the trans is a 5-speed, you could put it into either 99 with little trouble, other than swapping the front cover (and beware of the half-moon on the case, where Saab slightly changed the 900 cover, and a 99 front cover won't seal properly on a 900 gearbox...).
Good luck!
