Saab sold a few spoilers for the 99, and in the mid-80s, Saab made "Airflow" kits for everything (and I mean EVERYTHING).
And, of course, enterprising folks (mostly in Sweden & Finland & the UK, it seems) will try anything and modify anything. It really wouldn't be all that hard to put much of an Aero kit (aka SPG panels) from a 900 on to a 99 2-door or hatch, just have to work out the corners.
Traveling to Sweden for Saab events, I've seen everything. Convertibles (on models that Saab didn't sell as such), pickups, gull wings, boats, you name it, I've probably seen it...
