Fixing up a '74 99 Automatic

I just recently bought a 1974 99 L(E?) Automatic for next to nothing. Owner says it has been sitting for about 15 years, some in a garage and the rest outside on concrete. It was parked for some kind of fuel-related issue, so that means I get to figure out D-Jet. The frame appears to be in very good shape, not much rust visible. Paint is very oxidized, but there's still hope.
In searching this message board, I did not find any information about recommended fluid for the automatic transmission. Owners manual for the 1974 says Type A or Dextron. RockAuto lists the usual red bottle of generic Dex3/6/whatever, which I assume is wrong. What type of fluid do you use? Power steering says the same thing.
I intend on replacing basically all the rubber on the car, which has dry rotted away. Radiator hoses, fuel lines, brake lines, door seals, window seals, etc. Anyone have good sources for these?
This is my first real 'restoration' project (in quotes because I'm more interested in getting a drive-able car than going back to perfection), so I'm somewhat at a loss on where to begin. I appreciate any guidance or tips you'd like to offer.
