Starter problem? Posted by Jawerdna [Email] (#2022) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Jawerdna) on Wed, 2 Sep 2020 11:00:41 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Still getting used to the differences in my old 900's to my "new" '78 99L....Sometimes when I turn the key, the starter solenoid clicks once but I get no other starting activity. Usually if I try it a few times it starts right up. Now, however, it's not starting at all.
I've checked the battery voltage (12v+) and cleaned the grounds but it's still not turning over. The starter on this car is not where the 900 starter is and is much harder to get at.
Are there other common issues with the starter that I can look into instead of scraping up my arms to getting around the exhaust manifold to get to the starter?
Any tips/ideas are appreciated. Thanks!
