what is the INJECTION relay in my 1979 Turbo? Posted by photosofpickles [Email] (#2769) [Profile/Gallery] (more from photosofpickles) on Thu, 19 Nov 2020 04:38:26 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I am a new owner of a 1979 Turbo. Why is this INJECTION relay position empty between FUEL PUMP and START LOCK ?

I notice in other people's fuse boxes, this position says EXTRA.

The Service Manual has it clearly pictured with a relay though for 1979

What is going on? My limited understanding is that there is a purely mechanical air pressure system that controls the injection.. what would a relay be for?
