Brently, I don't know if you CAN buy them new, but there are used ones around. My buddy John Wirt probably has some, I have some...it also depends on the transmission as I know the '78 turbo box I just worked on had the same drivers as early 900s. Earlier transmissions have slightly different driver housings and I am not sure about the cups themselves. I have dozens of 900 drivers and those cups may be exactly the same whatever the year. If no one chimes in here quick with a definite answer, I'll go measure up the drivers I have for both the early boxes and the later ones. WIth you '80, I would have to assume the early 900 drivers to be the same. Call IPS and see what they say: 1.800.897.7278.

I should be on the road here in about 3 weeks. Hello adventure. Maybe I'll figure out a way to bring my daughter along rather than send her in a plane. In years past, driving mindlessly for hours on end was a treat...I get really bored now. My kid would give me reason to stop at all those "Historical" markers.
