I'm in Iceland, so no it was not the one in Minnesota :)

The paint seems to have held up quite nicely, but it was an amateure job at the time so some work is required for it to look real nice. The color is Ferrari Red, I had mixed feelings about it at first, but now I like it.

The 99 has a 4 speed manual transmission. As I just got the SAAB last night I have not yet had the time to thoroughly explore it. Rust is as good as nonexistant (especially considering that the SAAB has spent it's entire life in wet and salty Iceland).

My plan at first is to clean it up real nice and then see if I can get the engine started (it was last started two years ago). The brakes need some work (at least one caliber is stuck). The grill is broken, and some small things need fixing. And then there are always all the unforseen problems one encounters during a project like this.
