When I stripped the 75's 63k block, the head bolts were a b*tch to get loose. It doesn't make it any easier on you since the engine is out of the car and not mounted securely, so when you try to loosen them by hand, the engine is probably moving. I used my highest torqueing air gun to remove some of the bolts, no problem.
Just hope the crank pulley bolt isn't tight also.
