Aaron,
Is the left wiper still working? And if you try to move the right wiper by hand is there any movement in the axle or is it frozen solid? The wipers are actuated by a toothed (don't know if it is the correct word, English isn't my first language)steel wire that moves back and forth in the aluminium tubes that connect the motor with the wiper arm axles. The wiper arm axle construction has a gearwheel on the back where the wire's teeth mesh into. The tubes are secured by a backing plate that is bolted. Theoretically it could be that the bolts at the right wiper axle assembly have loosened and that there is enough slack for the wire to bypass the gearwheel. On second thoughts, when the wire is pushed out it might curl out of the gearwheel but when it is pulled in again it would be drawn into the gears again, so I think this theory is invalid. If the right axle is frozen solid and the left wiper is still working it could be that the teeth on the wire are already sheard off at the right gearwheel. The best way to examine things is by disassembling; not an easy job, but doable. First take off the wiper arms (they can be quite stuck to the axles), remove the cover that is over the air intake, unscrew the axles, push these inwards, loosen the wiper motor and take the whole construction out; there is room over the airbox where you can push the assembly over to the right side of the car. When everything is out it is easy to disassemble the whole construction for examination. Should the right axle be frozen start looking for a replacement; it is very likely that the aluminium has corroded and is swollen and no lubricant will get is smooth again.
Good luck,
Alex
