i dont really have a problem with it either. After a quick rev up everything always works fine. it is also generally something that seems to happen only when first starting the car each day. kevin mentioned that this is due to the idiot light being set too low, but I disagree. I have a voltmeter in the car (and I know they are not perfect) and the voltmeter will not read above 12 volts until that light goes out. They are not necessarily on the same circuit per se...meaning they don't piggyback their signals. One is directly connected to the alternator, the other at a battery source. When the light is on, I get between 10.5 volts and 11 volts on the meter. Once the car revs up, the light goes out and I'm getting 13 + everytime. This is a quirk I can live with, but it is still a bit strange to me...especially due to the others who experience exactly the same thing.
