When I rebuilt the enigne I made sure to do everything so that I wouldn't have any porblems. I know that I drive quite a few miles, 750 a week, but there is no reason my new radiator should have given up the go the yesterday. Heading back from Kellogo ID from snowboarding the heat quite 25 mins. from home and the temp gauge went for the goal line. Got the car off the road and off before it over heated. Figure a coolant hose broke, most likly the one for the heater, easy fix. Open the hood to find a stream of coolent spraying back into the engine conpartment from the radiator, part of the core developed a leak. Two hours later I had the old radiator and 20 mins later back out on the road. Today I was waiting for my girlfriends mom to come out of the store and the car all of a sudden quite. I moved the car to a parking spot and took a look at what caused the problem. I quickly found no spark was the issue. After about 30 minutes I found the problem the pertronix breakerless ignition kit had given up the go. I'll have to put the old point system back in I guess. Have a tough time understanding why two of the new items I put in only lasted 14 months.
