Dave. I've done a few of these over the years as well. I have a few pumps lying around back in storage in Utah/Idaho...that being said, many have turned to an electric water pump conversion (many examples detailed on line) with good results. It messes up the "beauty" of a 99's engine bay, but it done right, looks alright. This, too, might be a route to explore. There is nothing worse than looking for months for the right part, paying a bunch in either cash or knuckle blood, just to have the thing go bad in a week. It can happen, as Doug has explained.
