Ok, as far as I know, the only difference with the front suspension (other than the upper shock mount) is that for the earlier 99s, the spring base did not swivel. Change out the upper and the springs and you're done. That being said, there are also differences in where the mounts pass through the body of the car as the 900 needed spacers to properly remove the ball joints, etc. and the 99s had rubber pads already in the deal -- but they are attached to the body so there may not be a difference there.
You can take the 900 cv joints and mate them to the 99 axles. Once you've done that, the hubs you choose can follow.
