The 87 style wheel hubs tend to have the wheel bearing case shift between the snap rings, and as you'd imagine when forces do build enough for he presfitted bearing to shift, a big clunk is heard, often at full lock just after rolling forward or reversing. annoying as this is its not harmful or serious to contiue to drive this a way. Inner tie rod end play can be felt thru the boot w assistant moving the right wheel in&out. If the rack end bush is worn/loose, the rack end you feel thru the boot will raise and fall ( up or down) . Often the white nylon end bush is just out of position, dry operation caused this bush to get tugged thru its little dimple staks tha secured it in the outer body of the rack. If anbitious and the bush is relatively OK, and then reinsatlled in the rack casing, one can drill 1/8 holes and fit short sheet metal screws into the bush that will the additionally hold this bush. Don't get crazy with tryin to find bushes OEM or aluminium, just fix whats there. Inner ends can likely be just re- adjusted tighter once a visual after disassembly reveals all internal parts are well. Its trhen to be reassembled and tightened to spec, when it stays where put WITH OUTER rod on the end.
