Any early 900/late 99 would use the same pump. you should have no problem finding a used one in a junk yard or a new/refurbished one through any of the sponsor sites here.

i have found that buying a rebuilt pump can often mean you get one that is slightly different from the one you may have. The earliest ones had a check valve built into the pump (removeable though) whereas the later pumps had a separate piece that contained that valve. The early ones used a bolt to attach the fuel line to the pump, the later used a cap. Both work with the same fuel line fitting. I had to purchase the check valve separately after ordering a pump as the one that arrived was the later version and the pump I had in my'76 was a newer version. The pumps will generally not come with the pick-up attachment that sits on the bottom of the pump and early 900 pumps (were you to get one from a junkyard) would be encased in a prepump "can" and the pick-up attachment is totally different...you'll want to transfer the one you have over. If your's is shot, that's what you need to start looking for. They are much harder to find than the pumps themselves. Only the 99 model and some really early 900s had that attachement. They attach to the fuel tank differently but the pump is the same. BTW, you would be looking for pre-85 900s fro the most part. 16V cars had a different pump. Good luck.

Good luck.
