Fried cooling fan relay yesterday

While idling, the fan stopped working and the car boiled over. I parked the car, checked the 16 amp fuse, it was fine. Grounded the fan and could hear the relay clicking. Pulled the relay to find burnt contacts, melted plastic, etc.

I swapped in the defroster relay, grounded the fan, and the fan spun up.

Did the relay failure cause this? I'm not sure. I think the connector to the relay was corroded and got hot and started melting things. The green wire side connector is now melted into the black fusebox holder, and I can't pull it out. As the heat progressed into the relay, it melted and fried the relay itself. That's my theory.

I cleaned all the relay contacts with contact cleaner and put it all back together. I'm not sure how to replace the burnt connector on the green wire, or even if I need to now. I'm thinking about extracting the old connector and melted plastic, cutting it off and replacing it with a new insulated one. Then using epoxy to glue in the new insulated connector. The other option is to move everything over to the "spare" socket next to it, but I would need a new female connector like the factory one.

Does anyone know where to get the factory type female connector that snaps into the bottom of the black fuse block? It has to have the little tab for snapping in.
