Only the 99s with CIS ('75 on) will have the right pump. As will 900s up to 84 at least and then any other's with an 8valve engine. The line check valve will be the only difference as later versions had an external valve and with a threaded sleeve and cap for attaching the banjo fitting on the fuel line and the early version with a contained (though still removable) valve using a bolt to attach the fuel line. I purchased a rebuilt one from IPS a few months ago for something like 70 bucks. maybe less. Still had a lifetime warrantee or something. Almost all cars with CIS had a similar pump and you may call a parts place to see if they can give you the specifics on whether or not certain volvos, audis or VWs had the same pump...in case you plan on hitting the junk yards.
