Yeah, but you have all the pictures from the last one we did.
The nice thing about sticking with the 8valve H motor is that you won't have to modify anything with the fuel system. Plug and play as they say. You'll have to move a few things and you'll want a motor that has the newer chain tensioner (the only one they sell now) as the first few years of the motor had a bad design that wasn't kind to chains and, in turn, engines. The earlier valve covers, as John mentioned, have the oil filler cap on the cover. I would still bet the newest 8 valve you can find and then look for the older cover if you are so inclined. That being said, some of the later 8 valves have the double alternator belt system. you don't want that unless you really plan on moving some sheet metal. The early versions had a single pulley system and one less groove in the crank pulley. Seek that stuff out.
Its a lighter engine by over 30 Lbs. You won't notice that fact all that much but you could always get a turbo version and still have the weight change be moot. That will help keep your ride the way you like it...but with a bit more boost. John's suggestion of an MSS header will tack on an extra 10+ hp to a Non turbo motor as well. They look cool, too.
