Jimmy and all:
Sorry but your B and later H engines are very choose relatives to the Leyand slant four as Bob C has pointed out. Triumph WAS the company that was building the slant four and Saab came in to help out financially ( at the end) because they couldn't afford to do it alone. Saab didn't develop this engine, which GM is still using in the form of the H engine in the 9-5 until 2009. It's a cheap shot to distance youself from it. The TR7 was the last suicide noble effort to save the British car industry, and it failed, but lives on with Saab. Which, by the way is a GM company, lock stook and barrel. None of these small car companies could have survived the next 25 years, Saab would be gone today without GM. It was the beginning of the end for the western heavy industry companies. Want to crush all remaining TR7's? then also crush out the lifework of your grandfathers. "Oh. what a feeling?!!!"

By the way, how well do you feel about your grandson chances of landing a good paying job in car development here in the good old USA? Have a plan do ya? I sure hope you do.
