Generally turbos don't go bad at 85k, unless there's a problem with the oiling, or the driver kept shutting down without idle down. Given that, it's possible the turbos bad. Given the vintage and storage certainly you'll need to evaluate/replace gas and rubber. I imagine the safety once over will reveal the culprit.
