To follow up to my own post, as of today, Thursday, January 29, the Lancia is leading with 6570 to the Saab 99 Turbo in 2nd place with 5634.

In 3rd place is the VW Golf GTi Mk1 at 1663 so the Saab and Lancia are the clear leaders.

It's interesting to note that the Saab 99 Turbo was only in production from 1978 to 1982 while the Lancia from 1979 to 1999 and it looks like they've started producing it again in 2008 according to Wikipedia, so the Lancia Delta has a lot more years of presence and owners to weigh in.

Wikipedia also listed this interesting fact:
"For a period of time, it was also sold in Sweden by Saab Automobile, badged as the Saab 600. Saab assisted with some areas of the cars' design and as a result the Delta was better suited for colder climates and less prone to rust than other Lancias."

Regardless of how the poll turns out, it's nice to see this support for Saab 99 Turbo, a 30-something year-old car showing so well against so many other newer cars.
