99 with h motor...question

I have seen a few conversions to H motors in my days of saab dealings, but each one had the firewall modified with a sledge hammer and the vacuum assist bell for the brakes getting a few blows as well to make room for the alternator. I know the job was done cleanly by the factory when they went to the H motor in the 80's but I have never seen a picture or even heard a description of what was done with the alternator and or brake situation to make everything fit. I am going to do this ol' 16 valve conversion on a '76 99 I have and I want to do it as cleanly as possible. If anyone has a picture or a good explanation, please pass it on.
