99 odometers...

Sorry, I should have asked this question in my last post. I've seen only one '69 99 in my lifetime, as well as only one '80 99. In both those models, I've noticed that the dashboard appears to be the same: fuel and temp gauges on the left, speedometer in the center, and large clock on the right. Turn signal indicators are integral and are at the top of the left gauge dial.
My inquiry is this: Did all 99s retain 5-digit odometers until the very end in 1980? I know that Volvo went to 6-digit ones back around 1970, and all classic 900s 1979-93 have the 6-digit ones as well. If I'm correct, I'm surprised that Saab didn't even bother to make the switch to odometers that showed 100,000 or miles, since they probably could exceed that mileage like nothing. Oh yeah, I've also noticed that Sonetts do not have 6-digit odometers.
