I belive that it can be done, but there would be several parts that would have to be replaced, the steering rack and dash come to mind. My dad and I recentaly parted out an 83 900, it looked possible to convert from left hand drive to right hand drive as the holes for the steering colum where on both sides, the right was just pluged off. I believe the 99 is the same way, but it would take some work, not sure of what else would need to be done. Good luck to you if you take on this project.
