Larry, the front to rear pipe is also choked. Take a minute to look forward in the end of the pipe where the muffler was. I saw one once where you couldnot get my pinky to entrer the end. its worse several inches forward of that where it bends around the rear axel. Get a new VV/$ front to rear exhaust pipe and a new v/4 rear muffler. The fastory has a bulletin for mileage replacement of the whole exhaust system. The rear was at 20K and the front at 60 K( along with the front to rear pipe. Do you have a sinle 1 3/8 in pipe exhaust? If so than do replace tye front pipe too as this internally is capped and all the exhaust must release thru 400 spagetti sized holes. The M/C front has a cone with a 1 inch release hole and 120 1/4 inch holes drilled in the last half of the recieviong cone and will probably never close up.
