Two Stroke Exhaust

For what it's worth...
I believe all the required exhaust back pressure a two-stroke SAAB needs is provided by the front muffler. I drove straight pipes from there on back whenever necessary and never noticed a performance penalty. I also ran a straight two inch pipe from the exhaust manifold without apparent difference... except, perhaps in gas mileage.
A clogged system will definitely impair performance. A 'free' system is much less likely to.
Anyways.
