Happy New Year Rully! I happen to have both a 1500 cc v-4, and a 1.7L v-4
Although I havent been able to remove the dipstick tube on either one, I can give you the installed height: ie: from where the tube enters the block
to the top, and after careful measurements, it turned out to be exactly 9 inches on both engines. One word of cauthion; do not assume the previous owner was overfilling, during my past two overhauls of these engines, i have found they can be extremely difficult to seal, both at the front timing case cover, and at the valve cover gaskets, and I may have forgotten to include the rear main ail seal in the last attempt. Hope this helps ?
