The best solution I have found is to replace the original lever arms with regular tube shocks using Jack Askcraft's kit. I have owned several 95s and they have all received this conversion. They handle better both empty and with full loads in the back. You can use all sorts of different shocks with different feels and stiffness. My current wagon is a 1973 that uses quite inexpensive rather heavy duty shocks which handle better loaded then empty. I recently towed another vSaab with it using a tow dolly and was pleasantly surprised how well it handled. Jack's conversion is rather expensive (no surprise there) but complete and well thought out. Definitely worth the investment.
