I drained the tank and it was awful. The gas smelled like varnish. I flushed it with straight gas and compressed air and blew a lot of debris out. I have since refilled it with premium gas and oil. I ran it for about three hours yesterday after going through the carbs and it runs great with almost no smoke. I bought the Amsoil from Chip Lamb and really like the way it burns. Very clean.
Regarding the gas, my waste oil hauler will take a mix of oil, gas and antifreeze. I poured the gas into the waste oil drum and will have it removed with the next pick up.
I drove the car for a while yesterday. It was a lot of fun and the two stroke engine was very snappy. Thanks for all of the tips.
