Followup: On reflection of course it is possible that a design change was made and some transmissions in fact take a 7/16" bolt, so you should check yours while it is easy to get at. Further as to length, screw a bolt by hand into the transmission until it bottoms, with washers. The correct bolt will then have an exposed shank with a little less length than the length of the sleeve in the transmission mount, I hope that is clear.
