Jim I looked in my Haynes manual and found a 1969 Deluxe Sedan that has a tachometer. The hookup is probably the same as four your sonnet. I'm going to give you the number of the wire, color, and where it goes to as I look at the schematic. It took and hour to trace the wires down, and it would take longer to draw a picture in "M.$. Paint", so just draw a big circle on a sheet of paper and call that the back of your tack. On the left side of the tack there is only one hookup, so you should be able to identify that and go clockwise: that left side is #102, (green), which goes to the left side of the temperature guage. On that same terminal on the temp. guage, another green wire goes to the left side of the fuel guage. Moving to the top right terminal on the tack: #99 (white), goes to the left side of the ignition switch. which has another white wire going someewhere (?). Moving down to the center terminal on the right side of the tack: #86, (red) looks like it joins another red wire going to the coil, then both of them go throug a fuse(?) and the other end of the fuse has another wire #7(black) which goes to the distributor. So the right center tack terml goes to the coil. (distributor side). The bottom right terml, #107, (black) looks like it goes to a ground where it connects to #135, (black), which goes to the left side of the speedometer.
Also from the bottom right terml of the tack, #108(black), goes to the high beam indicator light, where it joins another; #109, (black) which goes to the right side of the fuel guage. I hope this is as clear as mud? Good Luck.
