Drew, the chart Amzoil give on 2 s recommended oils is clear, outboard for water cooled. Air cooled 2s run 100-200 degrees hotter. Saab wanted new motors at break in( upc to two K miles) saab wanted 1 quart to six gallons 24/1. Above the 2 K miles the normal Saaab recommended was 1 quart to 8 gallons, 32/1. or a full fill up of the tank wit one quart 40/1 Given the advances with synthetic and the additive pachages I use Saber at ratios uo to 50/1. This becomes hard to calculate but becomes roughly 28 ounces per 10 gallons. 40to 1, is fine as you were told. NGK's A-7 are ok for sport motors if run moderstely. A-7 are the called for heat raqnge plugs for non sport motors rarely fowl. A-8's are for running hard sport motors. Injection motors are another bag..don
