Just my 2 cents here;
I have to believe any modern synthetic two stroke oil designed for oil injected engines is infinitely better then what was available "back in the day". Cars running Saab Hi-M oil or non detergent 30 weight in the 1950's and 60's still managed to clock 50,000 to 80,000 miles between engine rebuilds, a few even broke 100,000 miles.
My point is if you use ANY modern synthetic injector oil and your engine seizes, you can rule out the oil as the cause. The engine would have crapped out anyway. If your crank and pistons are in good shape, the ports are properly champhered to prevent the rings from hanging up, the oil pump is working, the oil passages are clear and the timing is set correctly the chances are excellent that you will have many years of care free driving. On the other hand if your motor is slapping, clicking, knocking or otherwise doesn't sound Kosher, no brand of oil will "rebuild it".
