Thanks guys, Charlie is right the glass is in the door. THe real reason is that I'm trying to replace the exterior "window wipes" and the instructions I have say roll the window down till the aft end is just above the window then to remove the two screws from the hinge. Then remove the window from the by lifting it out of the channel and though the window opening. After that I can work on the wipe replacement. I was told by one guy at a car show to use a block of wood and a rubber mallet. (I wanted to use that as a last resort.
