The fuse block in the vintage Saabs is known for corrosion of the fuses. Most of us have learned to perform a little maintenance trick every time we change the oil- "roll" the fuses in their holders to break the corrosion. Changing over to glass fuses of the same size gives a big improvement.
Now to your hot start problem- I assume its a single barrel Weber 34ICH. There are a number of people with the Weber 34ICH that complain of hot starting problems. Several have ordered and installed a phenolic insulator from Pierce Manifolds. This spaces the carb up a bit and provides a thermal insulator that prevents the hot start problem. Others have been successful with a re-routing of the coolant lines from the thermostat cover, which is right in front of the carb. I have a 34ICH on my '68 Deluxe and have never experienced the problem. Maybe because I live in the frozen North and we think it's stinking hot when it's 80. However, I think I got lucky with the coolant line routing. If you like, I could take a picture of what mine looks like and email it to you.
Or better yet, maybe someone that has experienced the problem and solved it can chime in...
