Clutch Master issue/question

Hello 96ers,
I have a 69/96 with the later clutch master that sits at an angle on looks like a small can. My problem is this: I rebuilt the piece, and it seems to be hanging up in the bore. I get one pump, and then the peddle meets no resistance and doesn't pump fluid. I followed the illlustration in the manual when rebuilding, but the drawings aren't the best. The seals I replaced are tapered, and in the diagram, it doesn't show a taper. Anyway, I have the top one going from the widest point and tapering inward, and the one on the bottom narrower at the top and tapering outward. I am not sure if this is the reason its hanging up in the bore, or its something else. I just replaced the two seals and put the part back together.
Does anyone have a better diagram or exploded view of this part? Can anyone explain if I have rebuilt the piece correctly?
Thanks in advance, as always,
Randy
