Has anyone tried Loctite 243?

As to the post regarding my clutch slave leak posted earlier where my adapter piece threads into the slave fine, but has a leak at the threads. Does anyone know if I would use Loctite 243 on the thread if that would work to seal the fluid coming around the threads.
Loctite 243 is an industrial version of the standard Loctite sold at most auto part stores. Was curious if anyone thought that this might work?
