Hi Mark,
Are you talking the steering column in the 95/96? I ask because you say "90SPGClone".
If so, I've removed several. Follow the manual- it's straight forward...except...I've always struggled getting the column off the splined end that sticks out of the steering rack. There's a pinch bolt you removed last. Then the manual says "pull steering column straight out" or something like that. I find they always STICK and I have to use all sorts of pry bars and hammers to free it.
I asked a while ago (on another forum) if there was any trick and the answer was "get a bigger hammer". So be prepared for that part.
