fuel line in 76 99

Yesterday, while the guys at the muffler shop were installing my new muffler ("hey bubba, it says right here "made in Sweden"), they managed to cut through the fuel lines to and from the fuel accumulator on my 99. Since they did it with a torch and the line was under pressure, the resulting fireball was pretty impressive. The shop cleared out pretty quick while they all ran around, cussing and looking for the fire extinguisher. When the smoke finally cleared, we all noted that the fuel lines were just melted little black strips. Where can I get some? Can it be spliced using compression fittings or do I need the entire length from the engine compartment back to the tank? What do I tell my wife?
