Help! spilled pop on center console

I have a 95 900S and need help as to what I should next. I spilled a soda pop on the center console recently. I cleaned up the mess as quickly as I could; however, I now notice that some of the power window controls are ticky. Moreover, the power lock control is not operating 100%. I believe that some of the cola seaped down, clogging the controls.
Any ideas and suggestions as how I can fix the problem. I thought of removing the center console and then clean the contacts; however, I do not know how to do remove the console. Is it easy?
I appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance.
