Sounds as if you're talking about Willamette's Custom Wheel; they do a good job and really KNOW how to do this. I had them do me a set of 6" rims using Jack A's specs and they came out well. One thing I learned from talking to them is that the max offset is different for front and rear, so if you go for the maximum you have to keep track of which ones are which; I decided to keep it simple and go with one compromise setting that would work at either end of the car.
Don't forget that you may have inner-fender clearance issues -- I've heard that the rears can be a tight fit on a 96 unless you do a little hammer work inside the wheel arches -- so it might make sense to consider a more conservative 5.5" width, too.
