Besides a sportier look, the interior also has sound deadening panels on the doors and rear panels. I've added sound deadening material under the rugs and trunk liner as well as behind the rear interior panels on both of my 99's. It's very cheap and easy to do, and makes a huge difference. Along with the other options mentioned, the EMS will come with a tach, nicer grill, sport mirrors, and possibly a sport wheel (early ones didn't). If it is an early D-jet your looking at, I wouldn't call it unreliable. The D-jet is a little quirky, but if properly adjusted it's every bit as reliable as the K-jet. It also seems that by having EMS tags on a car, they seem to have been better maintained.....for some reason the clean low milage ones are usually an EMS 99.
