I'm going to assume that the system you installed has not been in a running car for some period of time. (At least long enough for parts to get varnish dried up inside them.) Remove the injectors from the manifold (point them into a jar), and the rubber "boot" between the manifold and fuel distributor airhorn. Hot wire the pump across the relay to keep it running. Briefly lift the plate in the airhorn and see if you get fuel from the injectors. If not, loosen ONE of the banjo nuts at the fuel distributor, briefly lift the plate again and see if you get fuel out of that one fitting. My buddy Dave was having trouble with his '78 99 one time and I thik he had put a different fuel distributor on it tha had not been on a running car for some time. When I lifted the plate in the airhorn there was a lot of resistance to lifting it, like only one side of the plunger was pressurized. (There should be no resistance to lifting it and it should return under it's own weight; remember, air passing through the airhorn has to be able to lift it.) After studying the drawings in the manual for some time, I realized that there is a tiny passage between the control pressure (top) side of the center plunger and the Line Pressure (bottom) side. Access to this passage is behind the spring loaded pressure relief valve on the side of the distributor body. After some time of trying to clear this passage (lots of carb cleaner), it finally started working.
Remember, if the parts you installed have been out of service for a while, they are likely gummed up with varnish.
