You can somewhat clean them yourself. Remove the flexible bellow between the top of the aircleaner and the inlet manifold. Remove the two screws which secure the two injector plates. Remove the injectors (still connected to the fuel lines) and place the ends in a container (I use two plastic milk jugs with small holes to put the ends of the injectors in). Hotwire the fuel pump so it is on. Using a 10mm socket you can lift up on the airflow sensor plate (round plate which is covered by removed rubber bellow) and give short blasts of fuel through the injectors. You can sometimes work out a nice spray pattern after ten or so full(throttle)bursts.
