I don't know what might be invloved in balancing the brakes, but I'm sure that the bias will change with the better disc brakes. I seem to remember that IPD used to carry an adjustable balance valve that could be used for changing the brake bias for different track conditions. I'm not sure that there's any way that the SAAB valve could be adjusted.
I'm not sure if the outer drive joints are the same between the two cars or not. It's a matter of determining from measurements of cars with both systems to determine if the rotation of the joint is the same plane. If not, it might be possible to make new driveshafts to fit between the inner donut and the outer CV joint. Anybody have an old parts book that they can look the parts up in?
