We're in the big flat middle of the US where the elevation is only a few hundred feet and the temp/humidity are all over the place -- not unusual to see -20 in the winter and 105 six months later, with humidity ranging from almost 0 when it's cold to 90% or more. So I tend not to worry too much about the exactly optimum jetting!... I figure you're doing OK if you can get it anywhere in the range where it's rich enough to avoid lean-surge on hot, dry days but lean enough not to foul the plugs on cool, damp days. On a street car that seems to leave quite a bit of wiggle room (most of the sweat about jetting Webers seems to have gone into competition cars where it was important to wring out the absolute maximum power for the prevailing conditions.) Air pollution and gas mileage considerations aside (and if you're really worried about those you should be driving a Honda Insight instead of an old Saab anyway!) I figure it's better to be a little too rich than a little too lean, since it's a LOT less work to replace fouled plugs than burned valves...!
